Course Description:

MAC 2233:Calculus for Business and Social Science I, 3 lecture hours, and 3 credit hours.

A graphing calculator is required. A TI-83 or TI-83P is recommended.

Prerequisite: Math placement test or minimum grade of “C” in MAC 1105.

Topics included are review of algebraic preliminaries, rates of change and optimization methods, integration, and applications to business and social sciences.
