If you are taking distance education and have questions try following these steps:
1. GO TO ORIENTATION! This cannot be stressed enough. You need to be at orientation to learn everything you will need to take a course via distance education.
2. Set up a blackboard account (if you don't already have one).
3. Contact your instructor (preferably via email). Your instructor's email address can be found by clicking on your course on the distance education website.
Spring 2006 Distance Ed Courses
Make sure you give your instructor you correct blackboard name. If you have multiple accounts, the instructor will see all of them and will have to guess which one to add unless you tell them.
4. Be patient. In most cases your instructor will check their email for distance ed courses once or twice a week.
