Math Division Meeting

Approval of minutes
- Dean Burbank Approved, Angelia Reynolds seconded
Items from Academic Council:
- Wendy Payne, Dick Stewart and Steve Dunnivant presented information concerning the structure of divisions
- Sharon Todd presented the proposed refund policy to accommodate the mini-mesters
- Don Reese addressed the program review again (Linda Adair will e-mail a list of AA programs)
  - Program review committees should have persons from outside the division (students, graduates, etc)
Gerry Wilson distributed the Division Program Alignment by CORE and Occupational Function' document which was then discussed by the division
The division looked at and discussed the distribution of students by program (as depicted on a handout from Don Reese)
The division discussed the assessment of MAT0024
Gerry Wilson presented possible course groupings for program review to the division for discussion
The division discussed the Fall 2008 weekend schedule (from Cheryl Flax-Hyman) for blended classes
Room report - many drinks are being found on the floor and rings on the desks where drinks have been sitting
10:55 AM Lloyd Harris moved to adjourn, the division agreed
