This tutorial will show you how to insert the Equation Editor permanently in your Microsoft Word toolbar.1. The first step is to open Word and right-click anywhere in the toolbar at the top. (click the thumbnail for more detail) 2. This will cause a menu to drop down. a. At the bottom of this menu is 'customize', this is the choice you want. (click the thumbnail for more detail)
3. This will cause a new menu window to open.
(click the thumbnail for more detail) 4. In this menu perform the following steps: a. Choose the middle tab called 'commands'. b. In the left window choose 'insert'. c. Scroll in the right window to the icon for the Equation Editor. Please note that none of these commands are in alphabetical order.

5. Once you find the icon for Equation
