File converter for MS Office 2007

Here is a link to a document converter released by Microsoft. It will allow you to open documents created in the 2007 version of MS Office with an older version of Office. I was going to email it to you all, but it's 25 megs.

Adjunct Orientation Information

Please accept an invitation to participate in the orientation meeting for adjunct faculty scheduled for Thursday, August 9, 2007, 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. with the initial session being held in the Sarzin Lecture Hall. The Division of Mathematics session will follow in SUW 267. While we at Gulf Coast have not made attendance at the orientation mandatory, we strongly expect all who plan to teach for Gulf Coast during the 2007-2008 academic year to participate in this session.

The orientation will enable you to receive valuable information regarding the update of statewide rules and regulations, changes in the mathematics curriculum for the fall of 2007, new objectives and policies in the division of mathematics, and an opportunity to discuss any concerns you may have about teaching. You will have the opportunity to meet with a full-time faculty member who will serve as the manager of your course and other adjunct faculty teaching sections of your course.
